Welcome to THE TRADING JOURNAL PRO. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how our application collects, uses, secures, and handles your data when you use our mobile application and related cloud services.
🛡️ Core Principle: Your trading data belongs solely to you. We NEVER sell, rent, trade, or share your personal trading records or broker statements with third-party data brokers, marketers, or advisory firms.

To provide personal trade journaling, analytics, and cloud synchronization, we collect the following categories of information:
User Profile Data: Email address, username, profile display picture/avatar, address, and mobile number collected during Google OAuth or Email Sign-in.
Payment & Subscription Records: Subscription plan type (Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly, Lifetime), purchase timestamps, order IDs, and payment status. (Note: Sensitive payment card details or UPI PINs are handled directly via Google Play Billing & Payments and are never stored on our servers).
Device & Security Identifiers: Unique Device Hardware ID (Android ID) used strictly to enforce single-device session security and authorized admin verification.
AdMob Advertising ID: Google Advertising ID (AAID) used by Google AdMob to deliver relevant non-intrusive advertisements and prevent ad fraud for free-tier users.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:
To compute trade analytics, win rates, risk-reward metrics, and trading performance charts.
To synchronize your journal entries securely across your devices via Supabase Cloud.
To manage your Pro subscription status and grant feature access.
To prevent unauthorized multi-device account sharing via single-session enforcement.
To respond to user support inquiries and provide technical assistance.
4. Data Security & AES-256 Encryption
We implement industry-standard security measures to safeguard your sensitive trade data:
AES-256-GCM Encryption: Database backups and sensitive cached settings are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption.
Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS): All network communications between the mobile app and cloud servers use encrypted HTTPS/TLS protocols.
Row Level Security (RLS): Database policies restrict database access so that trade records can only be read or written by the authenticated account owner.
5. Third-Party Service Integrations
Our app integrates with trusted third-party SDKs to provide authentication, database, payment, and ad services:
Our application requests specific system permissions to function properly:
Internet & Network State: Required for Supabase cloud sync, user authentication, and subscription validation.
Storage Access (READ/WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Required to import broker CSV files and save local encrypted database backups.
Package Visibility Query (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): Used strictly to discover installed UPI Payment apps (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, CRED) on Indian Android devices to provide a seamless UPI checkout flow. We do not inspect or collect data regarding other installed applications.
7. Financial Advisory Disclaimer
THE TRADING JOURNAL PRO is a personal trade logging and quantitative performance analytics tool. We are NOT a stockbroker, financial advisor, or SEBI-registered advisory entity. Our application does not execute trades directly on stock exchanges or provide buy/sell stock tips.
8. Data Ownership & Account Deletion Policy
You retain 100% ownership of your trading data at all times. In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, you have the right to request complete deletion of your account and associated data:
How to Delete Your Account & Data:
In-App Deletion: Open the App ➔ Navigate to Profile Settings ➔ Tap "Delete Account & Wipe Cloud Data". This will immediately erase your profile, trade entries, notes, and cloud database records.
Web / Email Deletion Request: If you cannot access the app, email your deletion request to contact.thetradingjournalpro@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject ACCOUNT DELETION REQUEST. Your account and cloud data will be permanently wiped within 48 hours.
9. Children's Privacy
Our application is intended for adult stock market traders aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 18 (or under 13). If we discover that a child has provided us with personal data, we will immediately delete it from our servers.
